Iceland was both chaos and magic. I arrived with strangers, lost my bag in Canada, and ended up in a rental car with a broken window that poured in the freezing air. Nights were spent cramming four people into a two-person rooftop tent — uncomfortable, messy, and unforgettable. But none of that compared to the landscapes. It felt like another planet, like standing on top of the world itself.
There were moments when I’d stop in my tracks — standing at the base of a waterfall so powerful I could feel it in my chest, watching the northern lights stretch and swirl like the sky was alive, looking out over black sand and endless ocean. In those moments, the noise of life fell away. I felt small, but in the best way… like the world was reminding me how much wonder there is beyond my daily routine.
Those are the moments that change you. They’re the ones that stay longer after the trip ends, whispering that life is meant to be explored, that beauty can be found in the most unlikely places, and that sometimes the chaos is just part of the story. These photos are my attempt to hold onto those reminders — and to share them with you.
